Nothing in this world is immortal or so to say imperishable or permanent.
God is, they say. But who has seen God, to believe in His immortality.
There is a shelf life of everything around us. Every living thing carries a tag of stipulated time. Yes we all agree to that for sure.
But , yes there is a shelf life to all.our emotions too. Though emotions are not seen , but felt. How can they have life and death.?
They do have life. The period depends on our own perception, concept and realisation.
How long we want to cling and make the specific emotion survive in the abyss of our understanding and Psyche.
How long we want the serpent of the emotion to keep loitering in our dreams and keep irritating our mental status in those sleepless nights.
Thank God, the emotions have a life.
Some people may say that I am crazy as they can vouch to live in the emotion of happiness for ever, in all times to come.
NO, I differ because I want the taste of ‘touch and go ‘ of every emotion.
Of course I would love to be in the emotion of love for the longest of periods. But not to forget that the Orgasm has a value because it lasts for a short period. After a toil of raging love when the orgasm finally sets in, it creates a divine feeling, like a miracle. I can’t imagine to be in the milieu of orgasm 24×7.
On the heavier side, Grief also has a life.
No matter what the loss is, physical, financial or emotional the grief does go away.
” I am sad when happy, because I know that sadness follows. and, I am happy when I am sad, because I know that there is happiness after the sad period “.
I have seen people emerging out of their grief for the better. The power to fight grief infuses an impeccable and exuberant energy to catapult into a different and successful person
